She graduated from Boğaziçi University, Department of Economics in 1993. She continued her education at the International University of Japan in Japan and the University of Southern California in the USA. After returning to Turkey with both theoretical and practical experiences with this MBA program in international marketing, she worked as a brand manager at L’oréal Turkey and Coty Kozmetik. She joined the Eczacıbaşı Group in 1999 and took different roles in the management of the NIVEA brand. Lastly, she worked as the marketing director at Girişim Pazarlama.
He met ‘coaching’ in 2005. She received professional coaching training from Coaching & Mentoring International and The Coaching Academy in England. By completing the Diploma in Coaching Practice program, she received the Level 3 Advanced Level rating of the National Open College Network, one of the largest accreditation institutions in England. She also received group coaching training from the Gestalt Center for Organization and Systems Development.
After these basic coaching trainings, she founded her company LIFEFOCUS (www.lifefocus-tr.com). She received the certificate and the right to practice the “MAGIC” special coaching program for young people. This program is carried out at universities and institutions, with students and new employees. She participated in the parent coaching program of The Parent Coaching Academy.
She became the only practitioner of this program in Turkey and one of the pioneers of parent coaching. Preparing and presenting programs and trainings in order to help employees manage their “employee, spouse and parenting-roles by feeling good about themselves is a difference it makes in the business world. She also advises corporations on being a “parent-friendly” company with a more holistic approach.
Additionally, she takes part in “outplacement-career support programs” that support managers and employees during career transition periods. She manages and coaches leadership development programs for middle and senior managers. As a Harrison Assessments talent management system accredited practitioner and consultant, she advises corporations on employee development, employee engagement and retention.
She is married and mother of a 17-year-old boy.
